February Half Term on the Farm - What to Expect!

Enjoy a fun-filled February Half Term with plenty of family adventures waiting at North Hayne Farm. From creative activities and winter bug hunts to sensory trails, welly walks, and cosy countryside moments, there’s something for all ages to enjoy throughout your stay.

Farm Hands Club

If you are Over 6 years old and would like to get more involved with looking after our animals then come and try our Farm Hands session (running for one and a half hours) where you will get to muck out some of our animals, get an extra handling session and join in on a field walk where you will meet our friendly sheep and goats in their fields.

Spaces are limited so please book early.

Be a farm hand for the morning

Indoor Craft Workshops

Get creative with our seasonal craft workshop, where children can make bird feeders, create star mobiles using natural materials, and enjoy seasonal hands-on activities inspired by nature and the farm.

Sensory Trails & Welly Walks

Pull on your wellies and head out to explore the farm with sensory trails and countryside walks designed for little adventurers. From spotting wildlife and discovering nature to splashing through muddy paths and exploring hidden corners of the farm, it’s the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors together.

Winter Bug Hunts

Wrap up warm and head out on a winter bug hunt around the farm! Even in the colder months, there’s still plenty of hidden wildlife to discover in logs, leaves, and cosy corners of the countryside. With fun activity packs to guide the way, children can explore, search, and see what they can find while learning about nature in a playful, outdoor setting.

Valentines Pamper Breaks

Make your February Half Term extra special with a family getaway that also gives the adults a chance to truly unwind. While children enjoy exploring the farm, adults can escape to our treatment room for massages, manicures, pedicures, and more at our Treatment Room - the perfect way to switch off and recharge in a peaceful countryside setting.
