Roger and Roobarb walk 5k for Autism

Roger and Roobarb are doing extra walking this week in aid of Autism Acceptance Month!

Dressed in his best colours and walking over 5k, Roobarb is excited to be helping us raise valuable funds for Autistic people and their families...a long term passion of ours as many of you know.

Autistic people can face many sensory challenges, experience intense anxiety around unexpected change and can struggle in social situations sometimes resulting in shutdowns or meltdowns.

The spectrum is wide but small adjustments and acceptance without judgement, can really make a difference.

When we first started on our own pledge to do this, 1 in 700 people were diagnosed Autistic, this is now recognised as 1 in 100!... that's more than 700,000 people in the UK alone. (Acknowledgement to NAS for these recent stats)

So a big grateful thankyou to anyone who can donate a few pounds...Farmer Rog and Roobarb will get a shiny medal and certificate from @nationalautisticsociety if we can raise over £100!... it would be pretty brilliant though to smash this.
