PDA'ers
Pathological Demand Avoidance or PDA'ers is an aspect of autism that is often not given the support or acceptance within a formal educational setting. PDA which is a response to significant anxiety, manifests as refusal to comply with direction or demand. Within a formal educational setting this can be particularly challenging for all concerned as the environment typically isn't suited to providing choice.
Our own observations have led to obtaining accredited training specifically intended to help us deliver holidays to children who present with PDA.
With many opportunities to provide choice within the twice daily feeding setting, our farm provides a safe environment where children are given the chance to feel in control of their choices and consequently have the best chance of avoiding fear of outcome.
Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss how we might help support your child/children while on holiday with us.

With thanks to Emma Griffiths (Bsc Med in Autism) who joined us on the farm to provide a tailored training course.
