Supporting additional needs

As part of our commitment to welcoming children with additional needs we were recently informed about the benefits of a spinning chair (by one of our families who are following the well renown Snowdrop programme - see link below). 

Controlled spinning is a valuable part of some children's daily routine providing opportunities to stimulate the neural pathways in the brain. Used in a supervised and monitored environment, spinning has been proven to have huge benefits to many children with sensory challenges.

We were very happy to invest in this as we are always looking to add new and beneficial toys and equipment. We are therefore pleased to report that a new swivel chair for our under 7's indoor play barn is now getting lots of use!
