Halloween fun at the Farm with Witch Griselda
October half term gets very exciting as all of our guest are given the chance to enter our free pumpkin carving competition and take part in our Halloween workshop where the children get to make some scary biscuits.
Each cottage is given a pumpkin and asked to make it as scary as they can ready for judging by Griselda the Witch who is sometimes joined by her two side kicks Offal and Gristle. Griselda has to try very hard not to eat any of the tasty children before she has chosen the second and first prize pumpkins. It's never an easy decision for Griselda as all entries are absolutely fantastic but decide she does and she awards the two wining pumpkins with a prize each.
As everyone tries really hard we always give all the children a bag of sweets... well Griselda doesn't like children to be sour now does she?
