Easter fun at the Farm with 'Big Yellow'
Easter at the farm is all about having fun and involving the children as well as welcoming new arrivals to the childrens farm.
Our popular Easter workshops are held once a week where the children join us in the games room for some fun throughout the school holidays.
Workshops vary each year between making Easter biscuits and edible Easter nests/baskets. Guess the weight of the chocolate egg/bunny competitions are held and of course our very own 'Big Yellow' makes special appearances much to the delight and amusement of children and adults alike.
On Easter Sunday we organize a very special Easter egg hunt for the children with help from 'Big Yellow' as having lost his eggs (again!), 'Big Yellow' asks all the children to help him find them. As a reward for their help 'Big Yellow' performs a very special chicken dance and because this is the season of chocolate hands out lots of goodies for them to take back to their cottage.

New arrivals
In addition to the Easter celebrations the childrens farm also sees the arrival of new spring lambs for bottle feeding, newly hatched Easter chicks and later on in the season ducklings for the children to handle.
