Escape the cooking and other seasonal stresses by joining us for Christmas at North Hayne Farm.
Come down to the barns for a real nativity with our very own donkeys Barney, Abbott and Costello, Ruby and Rosie the sheep and Zippy the goat. There'll be plenty of carols, home made mince pies and of course mulled wine.
Relax and enjoy your cottage with all of its seasonal decorations and real Christmas tree ready for your arrival. With our complimentary bottle of wine in every cottage all you need to do is unwind.

As many of our regulars may know, we make Christmas special for those staying with us by holding our very own nativity down at the barns on Christmas Eve. We welcome help from all of the children staying with us, giving costumes to those who would like to take part. So that the evening isn't too demanding on the actors we narrate the bulk of the nativity but are happy to give lines to those children who would like to have a go.

Each year we like to do something new; 2008 saw another first for us at the farm when all of the children sang jingle bells as loudly as they could so that a special visitor might come.
After the second rendition, the faint sound of a quad bike could be heard as Farmer Christmas came down the drive and made a very special appearance; handing out presents to all the children and wishing them a very happy Christmas he then disappeared in to the Christmas Eve night. Thank you Farmer Christmas and hopefully see you again next year.
We always thank all of the children and parents for helping make our nativity a success and really great fun for all. The mulled wine and mince pies obviously helped get the grown-ups into the mood for the evening while the children bring along their Christmas biscuits that they make with us in the games room earlier during the day.
With the nativity over and everyone looking forward to Christmas day, there is always the option of choosing from one of the many local restaurants and good pubs nearby so that you can unwrap your presents on Christmas day safe in the knowledge that you haven't got to think about cooking.
End the day by relaxing under the stars in your own private hot tub with a glass of something lovely!
